Hola…Welcome
I plant a seed. I make my bed.
I look into my grandson’s eyes.
I create an image.
I walk outside. I cook a meal.
I admire my daughter.
I talk to you.
I work with clay. I take a breath.
I listen. I see.
All intertwined.
All expressions of meaning and creativity.
For me, making art is a natural extension and expression of my everyday life and my spiritual practice. It is also the source of great insight and discovery….personally and artistically.
My passion is combining that aspect of discovery with the act of creating in community. For me, that is when the magic happens. There’s a hum in the room as we work together, exchanging ideas, insights, and sharing stories. There is a feeling of deep connection that stays with us long past the actual experience of creating together.
I can’t help but think that this is what we are supposed to be doing, that this is the rhythm of the natural world. Discovering. Creating. Sharing our stories. Engaging in community. It’s what calls me. Come…join me.
